the makings of a family. imperfect we are. saved by grace we are. loved by our Savior we are. serving Him in faith and action we are. follow us as we strive to magnify the Lord in all we do and are becoming.

change

change is here...march may be the snowest month for colorado but spring is in the air. growth is showing...in all areas. my life and work as well as the world around me. i like it and hate it. change is difficult, not easy to be okay with - not always easy to embrace.

i believe change is good. even necessary...for us to conitnually grow. without change we become stagnant, sort of like a pond with not in or out flow. yuck!

there have been quite a few changes since i last posted. here they go:
1. my longest relationship since high school (i know what you are thinking) ended. we decided we are really good friends. great guy and awesome friend. hurts but i know i will change and grow from and through this experience.
2. i am moving...the house i have called home for two years (the longest place i have lived since i was 16) i will soon say goodbye too. sort of sad, but since i live one block off of colfax ave in denver colorado...in the long run i am okay with a move. hopefully near Washington Park.

3. i have been an assistant manager with Starbucks for 6 months now. i have been declared ready to promote and am awaiting that change. no news as of now...but watch out...this girl will (i hope sooner than later) be managing her very own Starbucks!
4. i don't know what the last few changes are...i know there are more to come.
5. perhaps i will change my hair color...oh wait i did that. i am now brown with soft chestnut lowlights. maybe i will change it again.
6. i have decided i am going to embrace change. i know i will not like them all...but i am on the move...time to stop standing still.
see you soon...

  1. Awww, I'm sad that you're leaving that house. I love that house. Great memories there. But you're right, change marches on.

One thing is for sure, I bet your active lifestyle hasn't changed one bit!

    Congrats on management!
