that sentence never in my wildest dreams included, be a Starbucks Store Manager. probably because i had no idea what Starbucks was until college (1999). hard to believe that a short 6 years later i was working for the company. i am glad to say i am using my graduate degree (Masters in Leadership & Ethics)...although if i had to be honest (please don't show this to my boss) i want more. i love Starbucks and all that the company has given to me and done for me. i am just not a lifer. i love the people...who i work with and for. God and I have had lots of conversations and until he says something different. i am working in the land of coffee!!!
above is a picture of the 6th & Grant Starbucks in Denver, Colorado. I have been the Store Manager there since July 30th!

I think I am as bad as your mom about Starbucks. So glad that the holiday flavors are here as I love the Eggnog Latte.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you soon - Love you!
