june

it is unbelievable to me that june is almost done! i feel like time is flying by. is this what the rest of my life as an adult will be? i hope not. gone are the days of sitting for hours doing nothing or simply reading. thought, i think those days have been gone for a while now actually.

so what happened in june? i had a shower from the church on june 1st, a soccer tournament and shower with my U12 soccer team on june 8th, i left for vacation on june 10th and had a family shower on june 12th. i came home on june 18th and it has been a whirlwind of activity getting things ready for the baby. today, june 29th, i have one more shower with the girls i coach with here in colorado. i have been blessed beyond belief from my family and friends.

here are some pictures to update you as well.

the chair and ottoman my family gave me!!!

the U12 girls playing a fun apple juice drinking game out of bottles ;-)

the 5 Wakeman kids are excited to have another cousin play with. Tori and I (although i think i look slightly like a large fish) and the sisters.

Priscilla is on the left (the oldest) - she will be helping me in the delivery room.

Paula is on the right (the youngest) -she has shown me it is possible to remain sane and mother 5 children. Thanks Paula for going first!!

  1. You look wonderful! And happy. We are so excited for you. Less than two weeks before due date and we know you are probably more than ready. Sorry we didn't get a chance to see you in Michigan, but you were thought of often (and talked about too). We love you!
