Dimitri and I got married on October 1st, 2010. We are approaching 8 months of marriage! It has been wonderful to be with him all of the time. Kajsa loves having a daddy and we plan to have Dimitri adopt Kajsa once we have been married a year.
I left off with Kajsa at 20 months old. Kajsa is now a whopping 34 months. 2 yrs and 10 months. She will turn 3 on July 20th! She loves to run, kick and throw the soccer ball, and play with her friends. She has several friends that are her age and she thoroughly enjoys time with other children.
Dimitri and I went on an adventure of a honeymoon in St. Lucia and enjoyed the views, the intense hiking up the Gros Piton, and the sun. We are now off on our next adventure in life, moving to Pittsburgh. We will leave Marion, IN on May 28th and arrive in Pittsburgh on May 30th. Dimitri took a job with Emerson and I will be staying at home with Kajsa.
More updates to come. Life is a TON less crazy than the past 11 months of working full-FULL- time. I was happy to bid my position at IWU goodbye on May 12th. Great school, but not a good place for me to work...I did not have the opportunity to create a good work life balance. I am now ready to fully embrace being a stay at home mom. Yeah for making muffins and eating breakfast at a slower pace. That was this mornings events. Now off the to the indoor mall play place for fun with friends. Indiana has forgotten what May 19th should feel like outside. Instead it is rainy and cold. Oh well, plan B.
I promise to post again soon!
Love the update, Thank you. We are SO happy for you! Looking forward to seeing you in Michigan. Give Dimitri & Kajsa hugs for us!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you updating the blog again. I guess I should get back to it. Sounds like life is going wonderfully for you. Can't wait to see the three of you again. Love to all!
ReplyDeleteSo good to see your update. Gosh, Pittsburgh isn't far from here. We used to go there to visit Bill's step-mom. Would like to spend a couple weeks (or months) chasing down covered bridges and mills in PA. Have been to a few of them, but Pittsburgh has been just a stop-over on the way to WV or VA most of the time. Enjoy being a full-time mom. It's the best--most of the time. :-)
