who is this girl?

Here are a few pictures of me. I really need to take more i have realized. It is very weird to see me in pictures though. I think, "who is this girl?" It is for sure not me...oh, but it is. I do not have a complex about being pregnant and bigger. Although, i do find it very different ;-)

This is the day I moved out of my house downtown ;-(
Allison and Hailey (left to right) helped on the loading up end and Priscilla, Craig, Josh, and Deneen helped me on both ends. It was a simple and easy move!!!

This is a few days after i moved in to Priscilla and Craig's. I am a little over 7 months pregnant...so around 28 weeks. I am now 33 weeks and i think even larger ;-)

I will have Priscilla take another picture soon.

Other updates: I coached a tournament in Albuquerque, NM this past weekend. Layed out by the pool for the first time this summer ;-) More times to follow, i hope!!!! I have 3 more practices and 1 more tournament the weekend of June 6-8th. I am ready for the season to be done, but very sad that i will not be coaching next fall. I absolutely love coaching and know that at times i will wish that i was out on the field. I know that i need this break and time with my new baby though. I still have not told anyone the names and let me tell you... it is hard to keep this big of a secret all to yourself ;-) I leave for my last vacation as one (sort of, the baby loves to kick and punch and remind that he/she already has a personality), on June 10th. I can't wait!!!! i will be home for a family shower (thanks guys!!!!) and then i fly back to Denver on June 18th. At that point i will be 36 weeks and counting the days. I still have lots to do before i feel i will be ready to leave work and have this baby. Pray for an on-schedule delivery. Not too early...and not too late ;-)

That is it.

Love to all- Melissa, Mel, Rudy

  1. You are looking good! Give our grandchild a love pat. We are looking forward also to seeing you in a couple of weeks. You're right life will be different, it will be better, little ones always make it that way.

  2. You look really good! Wish we were able to see you before the baby is born, but unfortunately, we can't always plan the way life goes. You will be very busy keeping up with the baby, and I know you will get back to soccer soon.

  5. Don't ask me how I found your blog, cause I really don't know. A lot of clicking happened. That's all I can say. Anyway, you look great and healthy congratulations on this blessing. I'm terrified to have kids. Let me know how it goes! :)
